| Abstract: | Based on previous researches, this article confirms that Shi Mai, one piece of The Book of Song, was composed at the early time of the Western-Zhou Dynasty, in the place of the center under the heaven-Cheng, which later became the place of Cheng Zhou. It was chanted during the sacrificial ceremony conducted for Heaven. |
