关于高校大学英语教学改革的思考

随着大学英语教学改革的不断深入,社会对大学生英语实用能力要求的提高,存在着极大个性差别的中国普通高校大学英语教学面临着严峻的挑战。改革需要外语人更新观念,与时俱进,改变一百多年来没曾改变的教学模式。通过对大学英语教学改革的深入研究和对新《大学英语教学课程要求》的透彻分析和理解,笔者结合多年一线教学经验,就当前大学英语教学的现状、改革的目的、内容和手段进行充分论述,并就普通高校大学英语教学改革提出可供借鉴的建议。

Reflections on the teaching reform of college English in unversities

With the deepening of the college English teaching reform and the increase of requirement on the English pragmatic ability of college graduates,college English teaching in the regular colleges and universities where there exist great individuality differences confronted with severe challenge. This reform demands a change of ideology and a sense of going forward with time, reforming our teaching mode which has remained stable for over a century. This thesis,based on the deep - going research of the teaching reform of college English and a thorough analysis and understanding of the new ' Courses Requirement on college English Teaching',combining many years of teaching experience,fully expounds the present situation of the College English teaching, the purpose, the content and the measures of reform,in the meanwhile,putting forward constructive suggestions on college English teaching of the regular colleges and universities.
