Pearl S. Buck and Postcolonialism

Pearl S.Buck had a cross-cultural identity and multicultural stance,and there were many similarities and differences between her and postcolonialists.She talked about China in a positive way,negating its vilification and distortion by colonial discourse.Through a comparison between Buck and Arthur Anderson Smith,we can see clearly that she was greatly different from the colonialists in cultural stance.All this demonstrates that Buck was postcolonial;the studies of Buck can establish some links with postcolonialism.
