关于西部文学地域性的思考

西部文学的地域性更多地表现为异域性,作家往往借这样一种特殊化了的地域,来表现某种理念、价值、精神或者是关于人性的寓言化思考。作家往往是在营造一种真实的谎言:西部在这样的营造中,通常都会变成一个神奇而又圣洁的精神家园或乌托邦。作家借用异域来克服人们包括自己对虚构真实性和价值的质疑。因此西部文学具有非常鲜明的神话性特点,这一特点既是优长,又是局限。西部文学发展的真正关键是在如何扬长避短。

The literary regionality in the west are mostly presented as something of different land.On the basis of this special region,the authors usually convey a certain concept,value and spirit or think about the humanity.Authors are inclined to make a truthful lie: under such a circumstance,the west becomes a magical and sacred Utopia.Therefore the western literature has the very typical and clear character of mythology.This character has its advantages and disadvantages.The key of development of the western literature is to show its strong points and overcome its weaknesses.
