| Abstract: | This article focuses on the problems which exist in college English teaching for Non-English majors,pointing out the necessity of offering the course in Extensive Reading.The paper deals with its arrangement,the selection of reading materials,and its teaching practice,and makes an analysis of some issues of the courses,such as reading strategies,vocabulary,comprehensive training on listening,speaking,reading and writing,and cultural background knowledge. |
