对曾觉之译论中语言内外环境论的思考

针对曾觉之在《论翻译》一文中的传统译论，运用现代语言学理论和当代翻译理论的观点进行剖析与诠释。探讨曾氏提出的翻译过程所涉及的语言内环境和语言外环境问题，并分别对两个层次的内容进行梳理与阐释，从中挖掘出一些颇有价值的、具有前瞻性的论点，同时发现一些应当引以为戒的缺陷和误区，提出翻译过程中将语言内环境和语言外环境结合有助于纠正传统译论中普遍存在的偏重语言文字层面，忽视语篇层面和语言外环境的错误倾向。

Study on Zeng Juezhi＇s notion of intralinguistic and extralinguistic contexts in translation

This paper analyzed and interpreted the traditional points of view of Zeng Juezhi published in his paper A Study on Translation, from the perspectives of modem linguistic theory and contemporary translation theory. It discussed the intralinguistic and extralinguistic problems suggested in his paper which contributed to translation process and teased out and illustrated the problems in these two dimensions. Some prospective and valuable arguments had been found in his study. In addition a few of his unsound and biased claims had also been noticed. This paper concluded that if both intralinguistic and extralinguistic contexts are taken into consideration, it helps to correct the tendency of overemphasizing lexical level and ignoring discourse level and extralinguistic context.
