The value formula,V=PT(i.e.value equals to unit price multiplies by the total quantity in the deal),is a new formula put forward by Mr.Li Shi-fu aiming at differentiating value and price.This theory has ended the enormous anti-inflation school and has ended the previous planned system on currency price equaling to currency value due to confusion of price and value.The original idea of anti-inflation is opposing the reduction of currency value,but the school confuses currency price with currency value.They are for the rising of the price of a currency,but it directly causes the reduction of exchanged quantity of the currency,and as a result reduced the price quantum of the currency.Apart from breaking the myth of currency value,the new formula also systematically explains why the control of prices is doomed to a failure,whereas the maintaining of low price of a currency will usually be successful.The uncontrollability of product prices and controllability of currency prices provide definite points for the legal choices for prices by the state,thus the complex problem of price and value becomes legible.
