汪康年和庚子中国议会

汪康年是中国议会的发起人之一，此前曾任正气会会长。与希望建立全国性新政府的唐才常不同，也与企图建立受日本控制的全国性新政府的日本人不同，汪康年在中国议会中，始终主张东南自行改革，对北方和全中国将来的政局不发表意见。

Wang Kang-nian and the Chinese Congress (Zheng Guo Yi Hui) in 1900

Wang Kang-nian was the leader of the Righteous So ciety before he became one of the sponsors of the Chinese Congress. He was diffe rent from Tang Cai-chang who sought to establish a new national government, and fro m the Japanese who hoped to establish a new national government under their own control. Wang Kang-nian kept advocating in the Chinese Congress independent reforms in Southeast China, without making any comments on the political situation of North China or the future political situation of the whole country.
