Schema Theory and College English Reading Teaching

English reading skills are not only very important productive competence but also very significant learning skills,which are essential and fundamental to other language skills such as listening,speaking and writing.Inspired by the schema theory,the author proposes two concrete teaching strategies for the teaching of writing and suggests that college English teachers should pay more attention to the practical use of schema theory.
