口语教学是外语教学中至关重要的一环 ,以培养学生交际能力为目标的口语教学更是重中之重。交际不仅发生在言语层面 ,还发生在非言语层面。交际的性质及其特点表明 ,交际能力的培养应体现在具体真实的交际活动中。集多媒体课堂教学为主、第二课堂为辅的教学模式和标本兼治的教学内容、有的放矢的教学方法能充分体现交际的特点。

How to cultivate student's communicative competence in today's spoken English teaching

The role of Spoken English teaching is of impo rt ance in FLT, while the teaching that aims at developing of students' communicati ve competence seems to be more important. Communication involves both linguistic knowledge and non-linguistic knowledge. The nature and characteristics of commu nication prove that the cultivating of communicative competence should be closel y connected with real communicative activity. The integrated teaching with multi -media and our-side class activities as one, together with content and approache s, which the author thinks efficient and feasible, is a much desired choice.
