外商直接投资(FDI)技术溢出有四个发生渠道:市场竞争、技术示范与模仿、人力资本流动和产业关联,它们可以直接或者间接地促进东道国企业技术进步.FDI技术外溢的实质是模仿创新,它使技术后进国家的后发优势得以发挥.但是,技术外溢是有条件的.如果东道国不具备相应条件,这些渠道不仅不会起作用,反而会抑制本土企业技术进步.因此,东道国政府应当对外资有所规制而不是放任自流.

On the conduits of technology spillovers of foreign direct investment

Technology spillovers of foreign direct investment have 4 conduits:competition,demonstration_imitation,human capital flow and inter_industry linkage,through which FDI can increase the productivity of indigenous firms.The FDI technology is virtually a kind of imitation and creation,which promotes the delayed advantage of technically(underdeveloped) countries.FDI may reduce the productivity of indigenous firms if host country fails to satisfy necessary terms;thus,host government should regulate foreign firms rather than let them uncontrolled.
