非英语专业学生两年大学英语学习实效研究

摘    要:通过对非英语专业大二学生的问卷调查,笔者发现:超过一半的学生对自己现有英语水平的评价和满意度都很低;大部分学生通过大学阶段的英语学习都有所收获,但是这些收获没有达到他们的心理预期;具体的原因有大学英语学习的特殊性、学生目标定位不科学、课程设置不合理等;学生的英语学习动机很强,融入型动机较工具型动机而言影响更大、更积极;学生持有较为积极和准确的观念;其强烈的动机和积极的观念并没有转化为实际的行动或策略;学生们在英语学习方面的努力和重视程度远远不够,而且希望改变这一状态。

Abstract:Through the empirical study,the researcher found out that more than half of the subjects gave low evaluations and showed low satisfaction with their current English proficiency;and that most students benefited from the two-year-long College English study but the progress they made didn't live up to their expectations;and that the factors responsible for this include the uniqueness of College English study,unrealistic goals and objectives,limited types of courses,etc.;and that the subjects showed strong motivation and were influenced more greatly and positively by integrative motivations than by instrumental motivations;and that the subjects also held positive and accurate beliefs,however,their strong motivation and positive beliefs did not lead to frequent uses of strategies,i.e.turn into actions;and that the subjects didn't attach much importance to or devote more efforts to English study and they hoped to change this situation.
