| Abstract: | This paper expounds connotations of the ethical idea of science and technology in One Dimensional Man by Herbert Marcuse from the relations between the political domination and science and technology, between the requirement and science and technology, between the technical rational and science and technology, and so on It comments on the inspiring ideas which are ethically valuable to the development of the contemporary science and technology; and criticizes the radical, romantic and pessmistic aspects. |
