柳永词的“俗”是其实现自身价值的独特方式，客观上也适应了北宋社会发展、特别是都市生活的需要，要正确认识柳词的“俗”与“雅”，对于其雅俗共赏之作应给予高度评价。

Further Discussion on the "Convention" in Liu Yong's Poems

In this article, from the historical disparate praise or blame angle on Liu＇s poem, combining the social and era developments with the real value of the poem, the author explores the common part of Liu＇s poem again in terms of three aspects. Firstly, the location of elegance and vulgarily are decided by the atmosphere of the social era developments, particularly the mainstream politics atmosphere. Secondly, the vulgarity of the Liu＇s poem is the need to realize individual value and to adapt to the social development of the Northern Song Dynasty, specially the city life .Thirdly, a correct understanding should be made about Liu＇s poem , and a high value be put on the works which suit both refined and popular tastes.
