Slate Development and Existing Problems in Xingzi County of Jiangxi Province

The slate is also called the blue stone,the value of which in the reality is very huge.The slate development can give an impetus to local economy,but simultaneously can also bring many serious problems.This article elaborates the present situation of slate development in Xingzi County of Jiangxi province,and exposes some of its environment problems such as destroyed vegetation,soil erosion and water and air pollution as well as the destruction of tourism resources and geological disasters which influence the regional overall development.The article gives some ways to reduce the negative influence that the slate development has on the land and the environment,and initiate unified management of mineral resource to strengthen the environmental protection work so as to realize the harmonious development of economical growth and environmental protection.
