| 摘 要： | 在汉英翻译过程中,怎样选择适当的词语 作句子的主语往往是一个棘手的问题。文章试图通过英汉语言对比,用实例说明选择英译文 主语的一些方式。这些方式包括“选取无生物主语”、“补加主语”等。文章注重于实例的 分析以及实际运用这些方式所产生的效果。

| Abstract: | It is an thorny problem ho w to choose proper words as the subject of a sentence in Chinese-English transla tion. This paper attempts to approach the problem by comparing the English and C hinese languages and illustrate with examples some formulas for the choice of su bjects in English translation. These formulas include choosing inanimate subject s and adding subjects and so on. The paper lays emphasis on the analyses of the examples and on the effect produced by the formulas in their practical applications. |
