| 摘 要： | 荀子既法先王,又法后王,此一问题学界已有深入的研究,本文即试图在梳理此一相关研究的基础上,引入历史意识概念,以期阐发荀子先王、后王之说所可能蕴含的意义。文章着重分析了荀子天地始者,今日是也、百王之法不同等言说所包含的可能解释,认为先王、后王之争的本质乃在于如何保存先王之道。
