| 摘 要： | 英汉习语渗透着浓郁的文化气息,展示了两个民族语言文化的发展演变及民族特点。研究对比英汉习语的来源,考察英汉习语产生的不同文化历史背景,对于正确理解习语,准确应用习语,更好地发挥语言的交际功能,大有裨益。

| Abstract: | Both English and Chinese idioms,with strong national characteristics of their own and different cultural loads,are a reflection of the evolution of the two respective languages.It is of great benefit for us to understand well and fully master the idioms to study and compare the sources and explore the historical and cultural backgrounds of English and Chinese idioms. |
