| Abstract: | This thesis attempts to study the IA resolution in Chinese short stories from a cognitive-pragmatic perspective.It proposes a cognitive-pragmatic model of IA resolution based on the Conceptual Reference Point Model and the Relevance Theory.A unified theoretical account of IA resolution is provided based on the analysis of the collected data,which can solve all kinds of cases. |
