| Abstract: | Priority first given to the development of heavy industry, mainly international industry, and then to the development of light industry were Wu Jingchao's main thoughts on industrialization. He held that the actual conditions of China should also be taken into consideration. His thoughts, which were well received by both government officials and the people, in a sense stood for the orientation of China's industrialization in unusual times. |
