The Writings of Jade Flower by the Literati in the Song Dynasty

Among the great multitude of literary images of flowers and grasses, the jade flower of Yangzhou （Qiong Hua） began to be intensely written about in the Song Dynasty. With the historical changes, the cultural loading granted to jade flowers, through the Song literati, has been added to unceasingly. Now jade flower has turned into a cultural symbol, representing a character, a city, and a historical period.
