黄葆年与太谷学派南北合宗

摘    要:太谷学派遵循“命由师传”的规范。宗师周太谷死后 ,传弟子李龙川为南宗、张积中为北宗。后张积中在黄崖教案中死难 ,没有指定传人 ,其未遇难弟子星散而以朱玉川为自然领袖。李龙川遗命弟子黄葆年“承嗣北宗”。朱玉川等黄崖孑遗即按“命由师传”的规范予以尊奉 ,1898年到 190 0年间黄葆年完成南北合宗 ,190 2年辞职 ,同年归群草堂创立 ,学派进入“黄门”时代。其间黄崖孑遗中唯虞季升一人曾怀不同意见 ,受到朱玉川的劝说和教诫而终于服膺。而方宝川《蒋文田及其著述》一文论黄葆年出任学派山长系由弟子“共推” ,则属误解文献所致

Abstract:Taigu School kept to the doctrine where the master always appointed his successor. According to it, Li Long chuan' student Huang Baonian was appointed the successor of Zhang Jizhong, and the South and North Sect were combined in Taigu School in Shandon province.
