| Abstract: | With the development of foreign tourist trade in China, tourist English is playing a more and more important role. However, in interpretation and tourist guide, pragmatic failure occasionally happens and thus causes language barrier in communication. This article makes an analysis of the causes of pragmatic failure, its classification, and its enlightenment on the teaching of tourist English. |
