Discussion on the Transformation of Library Resources Allocation under the Trend of Low-carbon Reading

With the popularity of electronic reading,digital resources will gradually become the main collection in library.The remote joint storage mechanism should be activated to protect the traditional resources of not commonly use but with e-version.In view of e-books’ replacing function in library,the reference services department should,by relying on the collection network platform,push forward differentiated social extension business on the basis of user needs and reinforce the library knowledge hub of information retrieval advisory.Library needs to establish partnership with digital publishing operators to guarantee a convenient and innovative book-lending(download) business.Such socialized commercial cooperation also benefits for sharing electronic paper books.
