On the Historico-Cultural Implications of intimacy Vision

Prevalent among ancient Chinese literati and officialdom, intimacy vision originated from a deep contradiction between their ambitions to do good to the world with leaving worthy writing behind or achieving high virtues or rendering meritorious service as their life value outlook on the one hand, and the reality of great talents often stifled in oblvion on the other hand, amd from the solitude of the cultural elite not being identified or understood in a world ruled by commonplace point of view. Ever since the days of Confucius, intimacy vision has become the traditional theme of China's age-long cultural distinction and literary creation, manifesting itself as loyal faith in gratitude for a superior appreciative of and allowing full play to one's talents, or as musicianly knot fordiscovery of somebody else brilliant enough to understand the images of lofty peak and flowing water one intended to produce in instrumental performance,or as tender affection between a scholar or an official and a singsong beauty.
