中国加入WTO之后,教育服务作为服务贸易的一部分将面临着众多挑战与机遇.本文阐述了重庆市高等教育的现状,按照WTO服务贸易中的教育服务新规则的要求分析了加入WTO对重庆市高等教育的挑战和存在的机遇,并在此基础上提出了相应的对策建议,以求合理配置高等教育资源,加速重庆市高等教育改革和健康发展,确保"科教兴渝"战略的实现.

The Influence of Entry into WTO on Chongqing's Higher Education --The Opportunities and Challenges

After China's entry into WTO, education service, as one part of the service trade, will face a lot of challenges and opportuni-ties. This paper nanates the present condition of Chongqing' s higher education, analyzes the opportunities and challenges faced by Chongqing's higlier education according to the new rule of GATS, and puts forward some counterraeasures and suggestions in order to allocate the resources of higher education reasonably, accelerate the reform and development of Chongcjing' s higher education, and realize the strategy of "developing Chongqing by science and education".
