A Study on Selected and Criticism of Ci of The Anthology of Sixty-one Ci Poets of the Song Dynasty

The Anthology of Sixty-one Ci Poets of the Song Dynasty which,compiled by Feng Xu,a famous critic of Ci in the late Qing Dynasty,is based on The Anthology of Sixty famous Ci Poets of the Song Dynasty compiled by Mao Jin.Feng Xu tried to integrate selected Ci and criticism of Ci through The Criticism of Ci written by Hao An for preserving the basic form of the anthology of Ci compiled by Mao Jin.Furthermore,Feng Xu attempted to outline the historical development venation of Ci poetry through the sequence of Ci poets and aesthetic analogy.He proposed "Ben-se"(original color)theory in the anthology which marked the important transformation of the Ci theory in the late Qing Dynasty.
