| Abstract: | Compared with the view that WU Xian（巫咸） and Wu xian（巫贤） are mother and daughter and their names are homophonous,it is more likely that they were two outstanding women elected by their tribes-people as a representative to take part in the ruling group of the Shang Dynasty. |
