| Abstract: | The cultural circle of Chinese characters is the only section in the world which covers different writing systems, such as pictograms, blending writing (morpheme+syllable), and alphabetic writing. This circle enables a direct observation of the forming and changing process of alphabetic writing and is valuable to the study of the development and reforming of Chinese characters. |
