翻译技术研究新论

早期的翻译技术研究强调的是技术资料翻译研究,而今天的翻译技术研究涵盖机器翻译、计算机辅助翻译、语料库翻译研究以及翻译工具等多个领域.翻译技术应用于翻译具有三方面优势：规范了翻译流程,体现出分层次的翻译,并将翻译教学的工具性与人文性结合在一起.目前翻译技术工具与翻译教学的结合取得了很好的效果,翻译技术对于保持翻译术语、翻译文体、翻译风格的一致性也做出了很大贡献,但是,翻译技术对翻译教学的文本类型有一定的要求,必须是机器可读的文本形式.

New Approach to Translation Technologies

Early researchers of translation technology emphasize the study of technological materials of translation, while translation technology research in present days covers many fields including machine translation, computer-aided translation, corpus translation and translation tools. The advantages of technology applied into translation teaching manifest themselves in the following three aspects： to normalize the translation workflow, to show the different leveled translation teaching, and to integrate the factors of tools and humanism. The research indicates that translation technology contributes to translation teaching in the following area： maintaining the consistencies of translation terms, translation types and translation styles. However, translation technology has certain requirements of translation teaching text types, which should be machine-readable form.
