论宋代文赋

文赋是兴起于唐而成熟于宋的新兴赋体,它具有不同于其他赋体的特点,专尚于理而略于辞,有散文之风。文赋作品主要出现在北宋古文运动兴起以后,但两宋存世文赋不足百篇,元明清三代作文赋者更少,因为多数赋家并不认可这种赋体。

On Wen Fu of the Song Dynasty

Wen Fu is a new style of Fu which originates in the Tang Dynasty and is more established in the Song Dynasty. Compared with other styles of Fu, it has its own distinctive characteristics: it stresses logic, ignores use of words and bears something in common with prose. Wen Fu mainly appears after the Gu Wen Movement in Northern Song Dynasty, yet there are only less than 100 Wen Fus existing in Northern and Southern Song Dynasty and still less composers of Wen Fu in the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasty, it is simply because few composers of Fu approve of this Fu style.
