| Abstract: | Germany is one of the countries in which the study of China is being carried out. Compared with other European countries such as Britain and France, Germany started to study China relatively late, but the work developed quickly after the war with lots of achievements, which has made some contributions to the communication between the East and the West. This paper deals with the history of the study of China in Germany, important institutions for the study and achievements in the study. |
