论百年来白话修辞学的发展

"修辞学研究随着文体的演进而发展",这是一条被无数次历史事实验证过的规律。白话修辞学百年来随着文体变革而发展的历程,又一次证明了这一点。白话文体、白话修辞学与文言文体、文言修辞学的竞争分为三个阶段:(1)"新文体"倡导阶段;(2)"白话文"运动阶段;(3)"大众语"运动阶段。建国前白话文、大众语运动存在着不足,建国后白话语体、白话修辞得以发展。白话修辞学随着白话文体的成长壮大而成长壮大。白话文体、白话修辞学在与文言修辞学竞争中渐成主流。白话修辞学的诞生与成长,与引进国外修辞学说息息相关。

On the Development of Modern Chinese Rhetoric

"The study of rhetoric develops with the evolution of (literary) style." This is a rule that has been proven by numerous historical facts. The development of modern Chinese rhetoric in line with the evolution of literary style in the past century gives a further proof to this rule. The rivalry between modern Chinese style, modern Chinese rhetoric and classical Chinese style and rhetoric has undergone three stages: 1st, the introduction and creation of "new style"; 2nd, modern Chinese literary moment; and 3rd, "mass speech" movement. Before the foundation of PRC, the modern Chinese literary moment and "mass speech" movement had their defects, but after the foundation of PRC, they experienced rapid development. Modern Chinese rhetoric grew with modern Chinese literary style. Eventually modern Chinese literary style and rhetoric became the mainstream style and rhetoric in rivalry with classical Chinese literary style and rhetoric. The birth and growth of modern Chinese rhetoric was closely related to the introduction of rhetoric from abroad.
