中西方人本主义教育思想异同分析

摘    要:当今世界范围内盛行的人本主义教育思想在中西方教育传统中都具有悠久的历史。在特定时空条件下形成的中西方文化决定了中西方人本主义教育思想的差异性与相通性并存。两者不同之处在于:历史渊源不同;在对“人”的理解上,中国意指“集体人”,西方视为“个体人”;在教师角色定位上,中国当成“引导者”,西方则为“促进者”。两者相通之处在于:坚持性善论;强调人具有贵于动物的独特价值观;倡导教师尊重、理解、平等地对待学生。在梳理中西方人本主义教育思想历史脉络的基础上,探析二者的异同之处,可以让我们在汲取中西方人本主义教育思想的长处的同时,构建符合时代要求的新型人本主义教育理念。

Abstract:The prevailing humanistic educational thought has a long history in the Western and the Chinese educational tradition.And there are similarities and differences as well between China's humanistic educational thoughts and the West's,which are determined by their respective cultures,thereby having different historical origins.In the west,a man is seen as an individual and a teacher as a promoter while in China a man is regarded as a "collective person" and a teacher as an instructor.However,these two sets of thoughts both insist on the original goodness of human nature,emphasize the preciousness and distinctiveness of human values,advocate the respect of teachers,and understanding and equal treatment of students.The author of this paper believes that it will be of great help to the construction of a new type of humanistic educational idea to study these similarities and differences and imbibe the good points of both.
