在老子道学文化研究会成立大会上的致辞

老子哲学就其实践意义上说是治国思想,而就其根本关怀来说,是以人为本的人文理念。老子的道学文化要为世界文化的相互交流与和平发展提供资源,自身也须在与其他异质文化充分交流、学习、沟通、合作的基础上寻求发展和创新。目前老子道学文化的研究、传播、国际交流与合作方面相对落后,需要海内外各界学者专家通力合作,改变这种局面,这就是我们创立老子道学文化研究会的初衷。"老子道学文化研究会"的成立,是为学术界搭建的一个国际学术交流的平台,向海外展示中国的道学文化的重要举措。也是为落实党的十七大精神,为落实党中央关于建构和谐社会的决定及提高国家文化软实力的一个重要举措!研究会应该努力把全国近七千万民间道学爱好者引向学术化、规范化、法制化管理的轨道,为建构安定团结的和谐社会做贡献;应该激发全国学术界专家学者的民族智慧,萌发出有时代精神的新思想,为世界文化的交流和融会,为实现中国先哲的世界大同之梦,做出新的贡献!

Address at the Founding Conference of Lao Tsu's Taoism Culture Research Seminar

Lao Tsu's philosophy is the state managing thought in practical sense, and people oriented philosophy in its fundamental concern.If Lao Tsu's Taoist culture is to offer resource to mutual communication between cultures in the world and to peaceful development,development and innovation should be sought in itself on the basis of fully exchange,learning,communication and cooperation with cultures of different natures.At present,the study,transmission and international exchange and cooperation in Lao Tsu's Taoist culture are comparatively backward.To change this status,joint cooperation by scholars and experts home and abroad,which is the original intention we founded Lao Tsu's Taoism Culture Research Seminar-to build an international platform for academic exchange in scholar circle,which is an important measure to demonstrate China's Taoist culture to the world,an important measure to implement the spirit of the 17th CCP Congress,and an important measure to implement the CCP Central Committee's decision to structure a harmonious society and to elevate national cultural "soft strength"! The Seminar should make endeavor to guide the some 70 million Taoist enthusiasts to scholarly,standard and legal administration track,to make contribution to the structuring of harmonious society with stability and unity;it should arouse the national wisdom by scholars and experts of the country,to encourage new thoughts of the new era so as to make new contribution for the exchange and merge of the world cultures and to realize the dream of Great Harmony by the sage of China!
