| 摘 要： | 美国是当今世界上高等教育最发达的国家,其高等教育评估制度有着悠久的历史,发展得比较完善。我国高等教育评估体制正处于探索阶段,比较研究和借鉴其经验,对于建立和完善我国高等教育评估体制和运行机制,无疑具有十分重要的意义。

| Abstract: | The American higher education is the most developed one in the world and the system of assessment has a long history and develops relatively perfectly.The system of assessment of higher education in China is in the period of exploring so it is of significant importance to establish and perfect the system of assessment and the mechanism of operation in China by doing comparative research and borrowing the experience from that of America. |
