| 摘 要： | 称谓词是语言词汇的重要组成部分,也是具有浓厚的民族文化色彩的语言习俗词,其文化内涵因民族、地域而不同,并和民族文化相互渗透、相互作用。汉英称谓词都具有交际功能,但是在具体的使用中存在着差异。对这些因素的忽视会给称谓交际带来很大的困难。本文就汉英称谓词的文化内涵入手,对亲属称谓和社会称谓的分类、功能和语用交际进行对比分析,从宗法制度、传统观念、社会权势关系、价值取向、礼教传统和思维方式上探索其差异的深层原因。

| Abstract: | The addressing word is an important component of the whole vocabulary,which carries strong national culture characteristics and varies from region to region.And sometimes it interacts with the national culture.There lies a big difference in the communicative function of the addressing words.The ignorance of relative connotation elements of the addressing words may bring troubles to the understanding of each other in the communication process.This essay points at the connotational meaning of English-Chinese addressing words,analyze the classification,function and pragmatic usage of the relative addressing and social addressing in a contrastive perspective.Then have a deeper analysis on the clan system,conventional views,social authorities,value orientation and manners of thinking,so as to propose constructive guidance to English-Chinese translation,teaching and cross-cultural communications. |
