| Abstract: | As one of the influential scholars in Sichuan of the early 20th century,Pang Jun,influenced by the simple and plain textual criticism of the Qing Dynasty,contributed greatly to Confucian Classics studies and historical studies of the Song-Ming period as well.His experience as a scholar and his academic pursuits provide us a mirror to view how traditional learning represented by Sichuan scholars found its proper place in the modern transformation of academic studies. |
