| Abstract: | Through numerous examples,this paper analyses the word features of English news headline and its flexible grammars,interesting rhetorical designs as well as the substitution function of its punctuation marks,then further discusses some techniques of E-C translation of English news headlines,such as literal translation,liberal translation,amplification,omission,conversion and etc. |
