The Time Sense in the Traditional Culture

There have been many investigations on time sense in the traditional Chinese culture. Past people made many definitions about time sense from different angles. Such definitions embodied their understanding about time feature. With regard to the understanding of time, many past people held that time is limitle ss; while others held that time is singly limitless. Both the two senses have their own argument foundations. That the present people criticize the latter is groundless. In literature works the past people still put forward the simultaneous relativity understanding, such understanding came from their imagination about the difference among fairyland, moral life and dreamland.
