| Abstract: | The non-distinctiveness between Wang and Yang, proposed in Zhongyuan Yinyun(中原音韵)by Zhou Deqing,can find a lot of expressions in modern Gan dialects. The analysis of historical documents reveals that such a phenomenon is not a characteristic unique to the then Gan dialect but a universal property of southern dialects of the modern Chinese. |
