| 摘 要： | 本文具体介绍了外语教学的现状,时代的要求,培养外语能力的目标。笔者在具体的教学实践中对基础英语与专业英语的衔接方面进行了一些探索和尝试,以此文与广大理工科院校英语教师交流教学经验,使理工科学生能阅读用英文出版的专业书刊,快速获得第一手国外科技资料,达到专业人才外语化。

| Abstract: | This paper introduces the status quo of foreign teaching,the requirement of the epoch and the aim of cultivating foreign ability.Exploration and attempts have been done in researching the join between EGP(English for general purpose) and ESP(English for special purpose)students in science and engineering universities and colleges read books and periodical published in English,so that they can obtain first-hand foreign scientific and technological material and eventually they will master English as specilaized professionals. |
