论禅宗对东西方诗歌的影响

作为佛法的一个重要流派,禅宗以其对宇宙人生的独特参悟方式为中国古代文学艺术（尤其是诗歌）创作提供了源源不断的灵感和素材。后来禅宗又在日本孕育出风格独特的徘句。19世纪末,禅宗被介绍到西方,对英美“意象主义运动”起了巨大的推动作用。20世纪50年代,禅宗随美国“垮掉派运动”的兴起开始进入美国文化主流,一时成为时尚,至今影响不衰。探讨禅宗对东西方诗歌的影响,以及由此产生的既相融汇贯通又各具特质的东西方禅诗,对于研究两种文化的互通与交流应该有所裨益。

The Influence of Zen on Eastern and Western Poetry

As an important Buddhist school. Zen has injected infinite impetus and inspirations into China's classic artistic and literary crcation, especially into poetry. Later, Zenwas introduced to Japan and evolved into Hai Ku. By the end of the nineteenth century,the West began to know Zen, which greatly enlightened " the lmagist Movement". In the1950s, along with " the Heat Movement", Zen began to take root in the mainstream ofAmerican culture. It was once popular, and its impact is still there. Eastern Zen poetryand Western Zen poetry share a lot in common while baring unique qualities of their own.It's rather interesting and beneficial to study the influence of Zen on Eastern and Westernpoetry, so as to reflect upon the inter-penetration of Eastern and Western cultures.
