| Abstract: | This article explores the necessity of pronunciation teaching in non-major College English teach- ing and illustrates how to make use of class hours to teach pronunciation effectively.After an experiment in pro- nunciation teaching,the author comes to a conclusion that in the very first year that students enter the college, college English teachers should allocate some class hours to teach pronunciation systematically. |
