说"时"——中国古代的"时政"思想

古代“时”的本义为“四时”,即四季,内涵着周而复始循环之义。“四时”由二分二至的历法观测而来,在取法于天地的整体价值观念之下,“时”又引申出“时中”的哲理判断,以及“时政”的政治标准。“时政”意为依据季节、气候、历法而行政,而非“时事政治”的简称。“时政”思想根源于中国古人“天人和谐”的宇宙观与价值观,体现着取法自然、遵循自然规律的生存原则,对于古今政治均具有恒久的参考价值。

The denotative meaning of "time" in ancient China is "season",that is,four seasons,which implies continuous circle.The four seasons come from calendar research.The philosophical judgment of "time-and-moderation" and the political standard of "time-and-politics" both come from the integral concept of the heaven and the earth."Time-and-politics" thought means to administrate according to seasons,climate,and calendar.It doesn't mean current politic affairs."Time-and-politics" thought originates from the "harmony between heaven and man" outlook of cosmogony and values of ancient Chinese.It embodies the natural survival principle and possesses ever-lasting reference value for ancient and modern politics.
