分析哲学与哲学分析——从最新出版的两部分析哲学著作谈起

当一门学科可以撰写自己的历史的时候,大概可以说明它的成熟。现代哲学中的“语言的转向”使得现代逻辑逐渐深入人心,分析哲学的方法已经不仅仅限于分析哲学本身,而是成为哲学领域的共同方法和基本方法。分析哲学所讨论的问题,比如真与意义,绝不是小问题,而且他们分析的方式也不是零敲碎打的,而是有理论体系的。分析哲学的方法与传统的形而上学的方法确实有根本的区别,但是它所讨论的问题依然延续了形而上学的传统,而且是在形而上学的主线上。分析哲学是形而上学的当代形式;分析哲学与传统哲学相比是清晰的,这种清晰不仅是分析哲学的特征,而且是哲学本身的进步。

Analytical Philosophy and Philosophical Analysis

It is evident that a discipline has become mature when its history has been written out.The Linguistic Turn in Western contemporary philosophy enables the modern logic to influence deeply into many fields in philosophy by the analytical approach as a common and fundamental one.The problems with which the analytical philosophy deals,such as one of truth and of meaning,are not trivial,and the method by which it uses is not piece-meal but theoretically systematical.Analytical approach to philosophical problems could be considered as continuation with and in the line of the tradition in metaphysics,though there are quite differences between it and the tradition.Thus analytical philosophy could be a modern version of metaphysics.One of characteristics in analytical philosophy is explicitness rather than in traditional philosophy,which could be considered as the mark of progress in philosophy itself.
