责任：科学家不可或缺的伦理精神

科学家的责任有两层涵义 :一是科学家作为一名普通社会公民在从事科学研究这一职业时必须遵守的职业道德规范 ,即内在责任 ;一是从科学家实现社会对他提出的道德要求出发的 ,表明自己对他人、集体、社会所采取的态度以及达到的行为后果应该负责的一种伦理学范畴 ,即外在责任。内在责任要求科学家遵守科学活动本身的道德规范 ,外在责任则要求科学家从造福人类这一科学的最高目标出发来控制某些科学研究项目和干预科研成果的应用。

Responsibility: The Internal Ethics Spirit of Scientists

The duties of a scientist have two levels of meaning: one is the inner duty, i.e., the professional moral standards which he must obey as an ordinary citizen going for scientific research; the other is outer duty, i.e., his attitudes towards others and society, and the ethical scope for which he is responsible as a scientist responding to the moral requirements by society. The inner duty requires that a scientist obey the moral standards in the practice of scientific research, while the outer one demands that he control some research projects and intervene the application of the findings of the research for the welfare of mankind.
