教育回报率估算方法之调整及缺陷分析

目前教育回报率的估算方法存在一定的缺陷,应做适当调整。如:精确法应以竞争性经济体制中的私营部门的工资为样本,并用回归法模拟初等教育阶段的收入;收入函数法应对基本收入回归方程增加额外条件或者采用虚拟变量的方法;简捷法可用近似函数替代来进一步简化。现有估算方法的主要缺陷有:样本覆盖面太窄,忽略了市场非竞争性因素、教育的外部性、外在因素的影响以及教育质量的差异。

The Adjustments of Method for Estimating the Rate of Return to Education and the Analyses of Its Deficiencies

The existing estimating methods of the rate of return to education all have some deficiencies and need to be adjusted appropriately.For example,in the adjustment of the elaborate method,the wages of the private sector in competitive economic system should be used as sample data,and the income of elementary education should be simulated by using regression equation.For the earning function method,the regression equation of basic income needs dealing with additional conditions,or using dummy variables.The shortcut method can be further simplified by using the approximate function.The shortcomings of the existing methods for estimating the rate of return to education are as follows: the too narrow covering surface of samples,the neglects of the non-market factors,the neglects of the external of education,the neglects of the impact of external factors and the neglects of the difference in the quality of education.
