美国学术界比较系统地考察了“9.11”事件后的中美关系,包括分析了“9.11”事件以来中美关系的积极方面和所存在的问题,探讨了未来中美关系有望继续保持合作的前景及其制约因素和仍将存在的问题,并就未来中美关系如何发展提出了一些对策。美国学术界的这些研究总的来说是比较客观和具有积极意义的。当然,美国学术界在上述探讨过程中亦存在不足。

In recent years,American academic circles have explored Sino-American relations after the event of September 11 more comprehensively.They analyse the positive aspects of Sino-American relations since the event of September 11 and the main difficulties and issues in the relations,explore the cooperative prospects of future Sino-American relations,the restraining factors,and problems which will exist.They have also put forward some proposals on how to develop future Sino-American relations.Generally speaking,their studies are objective and of positive significance.Naturally,they have some limitations in their studies.
