"真实"的缠绕——先锋历史小说历史观的内在矛盾论

先锋作家的历史小说创作真正体现了新的叙事手法和历史观念。先锋历史小说的内在精神更多地与海登·怀特的“元历史”理论相通,而且“元历史”理论的弊端——认为历史是文本,否认历史客观真实的存在,同样是先锋历史小说的不足所在。先锋历史小说创作存在着自身的矛盾:在解构历史的同时质疑着历史真实的存在,却又企图在自己的叙述中重新结构历史的真实。可以说,先锋历史小说的创作仍然没有摆脱“真实”的缠绕。

The Tangle of Truth——the Self-contradictory in Avant-garde Historical Novels

The historical novels,created by Avant-garde writers,really reflect the historical concept and narrative way.The author of this paper thinks that the inner spirit of The New Historicist Novels has more similarities with the "metahistory"theory of Hayden White,moreover,the inadequacy of "metahistory"--considering that history is the text and denying the existence of the objectivity of history--can also be found in The New Historicist Novels.The New Historicist Novels are self-contradictory:they doubt the existence of historical authenticity in deconstructing history,while they still try to reconstruct the historical authenticity in their narrations.We can say The New Historicist Novels are still in a tangle of "truth".
